Coquitlam's only brewery, Mariner Brewing, is taking on the fiery challenge of 'Hot Ones' with a local twist.

Coquitlam 's sole brewery is hosting a unique twist on the popular Hot Ones challenge. On February 19th, Mariner Brewing will recreate the fiery experience popularized by the celebrity talk show, featuring eight escalating levels of heat provided by Gladstone Sauce . For $25, participants will embark on a tolerance test that includes a pint of Mariner beer and a glass of milk to help cool the flames. The 19+ contest kicks off at 7:00 PM at Mariner Brewing (H-1100 Lansdowne Dr.

, Coquitlam) and spectators are invited to witness the fiery competition. Supporters can also purchase bottles of Gladstone's new product available at the event. Hot Ones, a renowned YouTube show, features host Sean Evans interviewing celebrity guests about their lives and recent work while they bravely attempt to conquer a series of increasingly spicy chicken wings.
