Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock 2024 set to be a family event with husbands, wives, daughters, and sons all involved in the ride
After seven months of training over thousands of kilometres, theare heading out on the annual fundraising ride starting Saturday, Sept. 21.
Devon Wallace started collecting bottles for the Tour de Rock in kindergarten and this is now her 13th year of bottle drives. Family friend Kim Ellison challenged Wallace to raise more than $3,000. If she did, Ellison would shave her head.It’s Devon’s efforts that resulted in her parents riding on this year’s Tour.
“This is my grandson Henry. My son Adam who is a West Shore RCMP member who was part of the team but was injured in training so wasn’t able to participate,” Steve said.
