Highs will return to the 70s and 80s by Monday, forecasters said.
A cooling trend will continue across Southern California this weekend with a chance for light rain arriving as early as Friday evening, though temperatures are expected to slowly rise back up heading into next week.
Additionally, there will be more persistent cloud coverage along the coast through the weekend, with early showers expected to arrive around Friday evening, Adams said. The rainfall will continue on and off through Sunday, dropping around a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rain along the coast. Inland Los Angeles County cities including Pasadena and Woodland Hills will see temperatures sticking around the low 70s to high 60s.
