Monday sure looked like the first day of spring with sunny skies throughout the day but it didn’t feel like spring as temperatures dipped to -2 C with a windchill factor near -10 C. The cool temperatures didn’t get in the way of a spring walk for Donna and Austin Lewis who made their way from their home in Whitney Pier to Open Hearth Park on Monday morning with their pets Ava, left, and Maple. The Lewis’ were taking their friendly and active rescue dogs to the nearby dog park for some exercise.
