A small gesture of kindness sparked something bigger. “It felt so fulfilling to see people’s faces light up,” Catherine said. “The joy it brought me was immense. So, I decided to bake for more people the next year—and then even more after that!” Her neighbors now eagerly await her cookies every Christmas season. “I bake everything from gingerbread men to chocolate chip cookies and fudge,” she said. “Some of the kids even call me ‘Cookie Grandma,’ which I love!”
