All seven members of Colorado’s U.S. House delegation are among hundreds of members of Congress facing sanctions from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry is sanctioning 398 of the 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives, Moscow-backed state media reported on Wednesday, according to. The sanctions are in retaliation for the Biden administration placing sanctions on 328 members of Russia’s Putin-influenced parliament known as the Duma.
U.S. Reps. Joe Neguse, Lauren Boebert and Doug Lamborn took to Twitter on Wednesday to comment on the international development brought on by the war in Ukraine and political measures and counter measures.So . . . wasn’t expecting to be sanctioned by Putin today. But will definitely wear it as a badge of honor.
