The International Olympic Committee confirmed its new policy Sunday, which allows medalists to bare the bottom half of their faces for a half-minute on the podium for a photo opportunity.

“It’s not a nice to have. It’s a must to have,” IOC spokesman Mark Adams told Reuters. “No, there is no relaxation and we would urge and ask everyone to obey the rules.
