show “Conan” ends its run with an hour-long finale on June 24, O’Brien isn’t expected to launch another late night show anytime soon, but instead is focusing on a new series for HBO Max and also growing his production company, including its rapidly expanding podcast offerings.
In time for the final two weeks of shows, “Conan” will also welcome back a live studio audience for the first time in over a year, to help him end his run. The Largo at the Coronet Theater, where “Conan” moved to last year, will begin to invite fans into the venue next week. O’Brien has already been inviting celebrity guests to join him in-person.
“Conan” first launched in November 2010 as an hour-long show; in 2019, it retooled into a 30 minute series. Last year, it became the first talk show during the pandemic to return to a studio after producing at-home episodes — albeit it at its new Largo at the Coronet home.
