Wet, breezy, and chilly for a couple days then temperatures dip even farther Monday morning before a sunny “warming” trend next week.SATURDAY: : Mostly cloudy, scattered rain, breezy, high 58.WEDNESDAY: Increasing clouds, slight chance for rain late, high 72.Good Friday morning! Keep the rain gear handy. We will continue to see light rain showers on and off Friday with cloudy skies and a brisk breeze out of the southwest this morning changing to the northwest later.
Chilly on Sunday with a high of 53 and the clouds trying to clear. We continue to stay breezy, to make it feel even cooler. With clearing skies heading into Monday morning, and winds slowly becoming lighter, we have a pretty good set-up for our first frosty Monday morning for most of the area and potentially some patchy fog as well. This would be about 93 days after I heard the first cicada not too far off form the weather folklore of 90 days being the rule of thumb.
Mostly sunny Monday with a high around 60 then we keep warming up heading towards the middle of the week. Tuesday will have a low temp in the lower 40s then a high of 71 with mostly sunny skies again. Sunshine should really help pop the fall colors next week and early next week will likely be one of best time to see the fall foliage. More clouds on Wednesday and a high of 72. There is a slight chance for rain Wednesday evening and Wednesday night, but the day looks dry right now.
TROPICS UPDATE – Tropical Storm Tammy is just east of the Caribbean and will graze the eastern islands as it heads west and takes a turn north this weekend. It is expected to strengthen to a hurricane as well this weekend and early next week.
