A colorful art exhibit inspired by Laurel Canyon musicians is now on display at Richardson's Eisemann Center.

Richardson's Eisemann Center will display an exhibit of colorful art inspired by Laurel Canyon musicians in March.Michelle B. Noah’s Laurel Canyon series will be on display at the Eisemann Center in Richardson March 2-27.The series is inspired by the work of Laurel Canyon musicians in Los Angeles, Calif., from 1965-1975, according to an announcement.

Musicians from the era included Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young; Joni Mitchell, Mama Cass, Frank Zappa, Jim Morrison and many others, according to theShe enjoys creating a series of paintings with a theme and an inspiration, the announcement states. Noah works with bright, intense colors and uses a layering technique that creates texture, movement and energy, according to the announcement.Noah’s training is in printmaking and painting, the announcement says.

The exhibit will be on display in the Eisemann Center’s mezzanine gallery. The Eisemann Center is located at 2351 Performance Drive in Richardson. Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The gallery is also open during all public events.
