School Athletic Association Senior AAA Boys Basketball League championship game to finish their undefeated season.
“I’ve always wanted to win a championship for my school,” said Ikpotokin. “It’s amazing. To come fourth last year and to come first this year is a big achievement.”The Colonels went down by four points early in the game but quickly bounced back by going on a 14-0 run. The Raiders fought hard until the end over taunting chants from the crowd, but it was too late, and Colonel Gray secured their victory with a 25-point lead.All season we’ve been focusing on defense, help defense, helping each other out ... and we executed that the way we needed to,” said Manning.
