Bitty & Beau’s Coffee, founded in 2016 in Wilmington, N.C., is the brainchild of a couple, Amy and Ben Wright. Bittyandbeaus takes its name from their two children diagnosed with Down syndrome.

Bitty & Beau's announced a location on Oxmoor Road in Birmingham to open in 2023. A North Carolina-based coffee chain which employs people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is coming to Birmingham.

Bitty & Beau’s Coffee will open a location at 1625 Oxmoor Rd. later this year, according to the company’s Facebook page. The company, founded in 2016 in Wilmington, N.C., is the brainchild of a couple, Amy and Ben Wright. The store takes its name from their two children diagnosed with Down syndrome.
