COCHISE COUNTY, Ariz. — Following an hour-long discussion, the Cochise County Board of Supervisors decided to move forward in responding to Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.
The board sent a response to Hobbs, stating that Cochise County plans to follow all state laws during the election. They clarified that this means they will not complete a full hand count of every item on the ballot. The board also discussed the possibility of seeking legal counsel in regard to this matter. Supervisors agreed to revisit that discussion at a special meeting on Tuesday, Nov.1 at 10 a.m.RELATED TEAM COVERAGE: Cochise County ballot hand countMegan Meier is a reporter for KGUN 9.
