“EAO compliance and enforcement officers found activities causing negative impacts to a fish-bearing stream, with sediment-laden water being pumped into an area that ran into tributaries of the Anzac River, in contravention of the approved work plan for the site,” EAO executive director of communications Sarah Plank said in a written statement Tuesday.
