Residents of a Toronto apartment complex that has been plagued with issues over the last month are once again experiencing headaches at home following a shocking incident where a laundry room was engulfed in a nearly opaque cloud of dust.

The 24-storey apartment tower at 77 Howard Street in St. James Town has been in the headlines over the past several weeks due to the plight of residents dealing with power outages and the even more shocking complaints of the service workers tasked with restoring that power. Toronto Centre MPP Kristyn Wong-Tam took to social media on Friday to share the latest account from the seemingly cursed building, where dust filled the building's laundry room, allegedly ruining tenants' clothes in the process.

A video shared with Wong-Tam by a tenant shows the startling scene, which reportedly occurred not long after that very laundry room reopened following the extended power outage. A tenant at 77 Howard shared this video with my office yesterday after dust poured into the re-opened laundry room. The tenant's clothes were ruined. Tenants are already struggling because only 1/3 of laundry machines are operating. They deserve laundry refunds and compensation.
