A ruff one for Cleveland...

In 2022, Cleveland ranked fourth among U.S. cities with 43 dog attacks involving postal workers, according to rankings released by the United States Postal Service ahead of National Dog Bite Awareness Week June 4-10. WASHINGTON, D.C.
“When our mail carriers are bitten, it is usually a ‘good dog’ that had not previously behaved in a menacing way,” USPS Occupational Safety and Health Senior Director Linda DeCarlo said in. “In 2022, too many aggressive dogs impacted the lives of our employees while delivering the mail. Please help us reduce that number by being a responsible pet owner who secures their dog as we deliver the mail.
USPS also advises parents to not allow children to take mail directly from a postal worker as the dog may see the worker as a threat to the child.
