The Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment company announced a new Play-Action Plaza — 3.5 acres including a Ferris wheel, zipline, amphitheater and more. Both the Ferris wheel and zipline are coming from Cleveland’s I-X Center.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The I-X Center’s iconic Ferris wheel, which poked through the roof and gave riders a glimpse of the surrounding area through a skylight, will be heading to the Hall of Fame Village in Canton.— 3.5 acres including a Ferris wheel, zipline, amphitheater and more. Both the Ferris wheel and zipline are coming from Cleveland’s International Exposition Center.

Temporarily closed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the I-X Center has reopened and is now leased from the city by Industrial Realty Group., which are now slated to begin in mid-May, according to Claire Anter, director of marketing and sales for the I-X Center. According to a news release from the Hall of Fame Village, the Ferris wheel and zipline will be unique rides to Stark County. The Ferris wheel, standing several stories high with 20 gondola baskets, will give riders a “sky view” of the surrounding area now being called the Red Zone.
