Loyal Cleveland baseball fans are keeping with tradition ⚾

CLEVELAND, Ohio – In keeping with tradition, the Cleveland Guardians home opener is sold out.

The Guardians are set to host the Seattle Mariners at 4:10 p.m. Friday, April 7 - Good Friday. Cleveland begins the season on the road with a seven-game West Coast trip at Seattle and Oakland on Thursday, March 30, vs. the Mariners. It’s the 29th consecutive Opening Day that Cleveland’s home opener has been sold out since Progressive Field - then Jacobs Field - opened in 1994.

The Guardians’ initial homestand of the 2023 season has them playing at 6:10 p.m. Saturday and 1:40 p.m. Sunday, April 8-9, against Seattle. Then the New York Yankees come to town for three games – 6:10 p.m. Monday, April 10; 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 11; and 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 12.
