Out of an abundance of caution, the Cleveland's Central Catholic High School's homecoming football game has been moved, dance rescheduled, and classes canceled.
Police investigating the matter have since determined that “a weapon other than a pellet gun was likely involved” according to the Diocese of Cleveland. This development has led to a cancelation of all on campus activities for Saturday, October 14. Investigation is ongoing.
A 15-year-old boy was shot in the 6600 block of Baxter Ave. in the city’s Slavic Village neighborhood on Friday using what the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland originally said was believed to be a pellet gun. But police investigating the matter have since determined that “a weapon other than a pellet gun was likely involved” according to the Diocese.Cleveland Police told Cleveland.
