In total, $68 million were awarded to projects across the state, split among 12 Ohio communities, the governor’s office announced.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Nine projects in the Cleveland/Akron area received a combined $20.2 million in Ohio Historical Preservation Tax Credits in the latest round of credits announced by the state on Thursday.
The tax credits are provided as a financial incentive to encourage the private redevelopment of historic buildings that have languished vacant or under utilized.
