The Algoma District School Board invites applications for the position of CLERK OF THE WORKS (1 year Contract Position/ with possible extension) The Algoma District School Board (ADSB), in partnership with Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l'O
during the construction of a new JK- 12 School located in Blind River, Ontario. Beginning in the spring of 2023 the project includes all site development and construction of a new JK-12 Elementary/Secondary School complete with an attached Daycare Facility .
The successful applicant will have completed a minimum 2 year Diploma Program in a related field or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years construction and project management/administration experience on projects of similar size and scope. The successful applicant will be highly organized with a thorough knowledge of construction contracts and processes, building components and systems and have strong analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills.
A shortlisting of applicants for consideration will be completed employing the Algoma District School Board Hiring Policy. Should there be a need for interviews, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Accommodations through the recruitment and selection process are available upon request. The successful candidate, as a condition of employment, will be required to provide a current vulnerable sector check, which is acceptable to the Board.
