Mothers are expected to work like they don’t have kids and parent like they don’t have a job. When working moms can’t do both, they're labelled as selfish. It’s completely unrealistic, and in a COVID-19 world, we need compassion for people who are overwhelmed and overworked.
Eat what makes your body feel good , move your body or even work up a sweat, and get enough sleep . Carve out some time every day to do something you love, like curling up with a book and a cup of tea or taking a hot bath. For the kids, this is their free time to choose what brings them joy.Just because you’re isolated, doesn’t mean you have to go it alone.
