The bird was found on the loose Tuesday in the Balsam Street/Margaret Street area.
THUNDER BAY — A lost chicken was making herself at home Tuesday afternoon while her temporary guardian tried to locate her owner.
Marie's boss was driving in the Balsam Street/Margaret Street area earlier in the day when he spotted the bird on the loose."I used to live in the area the chicken was found 10 years ago, and I remember there was somebody in the neighbourhood that had chickens," Marie told TBnewswatch. Marie went to some trouble to make sure the chicken is safe and secure, even going to a pet store to buy a small harness so it can't escape again.
