The WSO said more than 100 people had been affected by a policy mandating guards at city-run sites be clean-shaven in order to properly don N95 respirators.In an email to Global News, Star Security Inc. President Jimi Bonotti said, “This is not a ‘clean shaven policy,’ rather the policy requires subcontractors to wear N95 masks pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

“All GardaWorld employees who were unable to meet this health and safety client requirement were offered other and equivalent opportunities within the organizations until such time as this measure is lifted.”Story continues below advertisement
