Outreach workers with Alberta Alliance Who Educate and Advocate Responsibly stand near the Olympic Plaza public washroom on May 2. AAWEAR will be part of the Downtown Washroom Attendant Pilot Project, starting in May. The goal is to help improve the overall user experience of public washrooms at two busy downtown parks.In a move aimed at making public spaces safer, the City of Calgary is partnering with a community organization to put washroom attendants in two downtown parks this summer.
