HALIFAX, N.S. — Cirque du Soleil's Corteo is set to enthrall Halifax audiences for the first time at the Scotiabank Centre with six performances from June 6-9.
Directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, Corteo made its debut in Montreal in April 2005 and has since been performed in front of over 10 million people across 22 countries.Montreal artist inspired by surrealism, circus performers and an ancient Greek myth when creating Cirque du Soleil mural Set in “a mysterious space between heaven and earth, the production combines acting with acrobatics in a show of comedy and spontaneity following a clown who pictures his funeral in a carnival atmosphere as he is watched over by angels.
