La carta de los legisladores respalda la reciente aprobación de la legislación de controles en Nevada, incluida la Ley 143 del Senado, que exige la verificación de antecedentes para la venta por parte de particulares. La medida fue promulgada en febrero por el gobernador demócrata Steve Sisolak.
