. “There’s two depressing slow ones, and then the rest have a bit of pep,” she told the audience last night of her nine-song set list.on Friday. Her tour through U.S. cities continues through September; in October, she heads to Europe for a string of dates.
Though she has launched her solo career, she is also still very much in Chvrches, as she assured fans when she“For a long time, I couldn’t imagine ever doing anything outside of Chvrches. Since I was 15 years old, I have always, only, ever been in a band,” she wrote at the time. “I always wanted so badly to belong somewhere — to be one of the boys, and to fit in.”
“But as I sail/stumble through this era of my life , it has started to feel like there are things I want to write and say and do that need to be done on my own,” she added.
