Free gas and groceries will be available first come, first serve Saturday morning at a Sheetz in Middletown, thanks to a local church. DaySpring Ministries is hosting the giveaway from 8–10 a.m. at the Sheetz at 1401 West Harrisburg Pike.the church is donating $5,000 and each driver can receive up to $40 worth of gas. The giveaway will end once the church has spent $5,000.
In addition to the gas, the church will be offering non-perishable food, drinks and personal items to those in need. Pastor James Chavis told ABC 27, “We are always looking for opportunities to be a blessing to the community. Since the gas prices started to rise, the Lord dropped in our pastor’s spirit and said ‘why don’t we do this gas giveaway.”Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
