Christina Ricci’s Emmy-nominated performance in the Showtime series, who survived a plane crash by resorting to cannibalism as a teen, weren’t impressive enough, it turns out the 42-year-old actor was doing her best to hide that she was pregnant for the length of the six-month shoot.
Ricci evidently gives a real good performance at pretending not to be pregnant, too: She posted the below photo a month and a half afterIt’s a good thing it all worked out timing-wise. We don’t even want to think about what Misty—who poisons and kidnaps people without a second thought—would be like as a mom had the writers incorporated Ricci’s pregnancy into the script.
