Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ended with Star-Lord and the original Guardians disbanding, with Peter Quill naming Rocket Raccoon the new captain of the team, and the MCU's new cosmic team roster debuting in the first of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's post-credits scenes.
Pratt getting a solo MCU movie would certainly be an interesting choice and would offer a nice payoff to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's ending tease, as would a Disney+ series focused on Star-Lord.
