On a quest to discover long-lost answers about a mystery from the past, Chris Pine's Edgin the Bard uses magic to try and speak to the dead in a new Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves clip. The upcoming fantasy film stars Pine alongside Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Regé-Jean Page, Hugh Grant, and Sophie Lillis as a party of adventurers.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Revealed by IGN on their YouTube channel during their online "Fan Fest" event, Edgin, Holga, Simon, and Doric to a long-dead soul for aid in their quest in a newly released clip ahead of Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves' release. In the clip above, Simon casts a spell on the grave of a long-dead soldier who can explain to the party what happened during the events of an ancient battle. However, the situation proves difficult for Edgin, when it is revealed the party must be careful about what words they choose around the dead man due to the spell's unclear rules.
Furthermore, in recent years, groups of recognizable online personalities coming together to play Dungeons & Dragons on live streams has offered audiences a new avenue to learn about tabletop gaming, with Critical Role being among the most recognizable shows. With these series, a main draw to audiences is watching the interactions between players as they gradually unravel the story.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves looks to be a light-hearted adventure perfect for both knowledgeable fans and newcomers.
