Erik Chadsey allowed sexually charged conversations in his classroom and had relationships with recently graduated female students

• Chadsey would sometimes share “age-inappropriate stories or information with his students or use age-inappropriate language in discussions with them.”

• Chadsey showed one of his classes two videos, one called “How to Tell if You’re a Basic Bitch” and another called “How to Tell if You’re a Basic Bro.” Some found the former demeaning to women. • Once, Chadsey “mimicked physical tics and stutters in front of his students.” He later told his class he couldn’t tell certain stories or imitate accents anymore because some found it offensive.

Those incidents followed years of issues that led to the district asking Chadsey to keep his classes and discussions with students free from “intimate personal matters or matters of a sexual nature.”
