The Ojibways of Batchewana First Nation are a progressive and vibrant Indigenous community situated on the north-eastern shore of Lake Superior adjacent to the City of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. The First Nation Is comprised of four land bases: Rankin, Goulais Bay, Obadjiwon, and Whitefish Island.
• Set up and oversee BFN’s finance data management, regulatory reporting / compliance systems, procurement, insurance, programs and processes • Provide leadership, oversight, support, mentorship and guidance to Housing and Operations & Management throughout strategic, long term and operational planning and day-to-day execution
• Provide financial management support to all BFN partnerships and corporate businesses, such as: Renewable Energy ventures and Mining
