Peter Beard, whose death was confirmed on April 19, was married to Cheryl Tiegs in the early 1980s.
It was on April 19 that Beard, 82 and struggling with dementia,three weeks after he was reported missing from his home in Montauk, New York, where he lived with wife Nejma.
