There was a sweet sadness at CHEO Saturday as Mollypenny, the institution’s beloved therapeutic clown, did her final walkabout before heading off to retirement.

Mollypenny was fêted Saturday outside CHEO with the Construction Community Cares group, which organized a parade of construction vehicles past the children hospital,“We love you Molly” could be heard shouted out all along the route. There was no shortage of clown costumes in the crowd, including CHEO boss Alex Munter in a bright red foam clown nose.
