So events like the food bank’s recent food drive and Souls Harbour’s stocking initiative tie-in to what is already being felt in the air, along with the growing December chill - a spirit of helping others less fortunate. And even if that means a small donation of whatever one can afford, it’s the willingness and the want to give that truly says it’s Christmas time.
It has been another trying year for folks in Colchester County with the impacts of COVID still lingering on, like the virus itself, and then Fiona slamming the province in September with central Nova Scotia taking a major hit. Still, the generousity of Colchester residents comes out in so many ways … it really is the best time of the year.to still no word on the fate of the Colchester Legion Stadium which was a victim of Fiona’s wrath.
