Quinte West OPP have laid charges after a break and enter and an assault at a home in Trenton.
Police responded to a report of an assault in progress at a residence on Telephone Rd. around 9 p.m. on Monday. When police arrived, they say they spotted the victim with injuries and allege that the accused was still inside the home. The victim was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The accused was arrested.A 39-year-old male from York, Ont. was charged with the following:Utter threats – cause death or bodily harmThe name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
