The Prince George RCMP says charges have been approved by the BC Prosecution Service over an early morning shooting on Jan. 5 at the former UNDU clinic in the Lower Patricia encampment known as Moccasin Flats. The investigation has turned into a second-degree murder investigation following the victim's death. The suspect remains in custody.

The Prince George RCMP says charges have been approved by the BC Prosecution Service over an early morning shooting on Jan. 5 at the former UNDU clinic in the Lower Patricia encampment known as Moccasin Flats . “Following the recent death of the victim as the result of his injuries, this investigation has now turned from an attempted murder investigation to a second-degree murder investigation,” noted Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP .

The suspect, Fabian James Charlie, remains in custody as the investigation continues by the Prince George RCMP’s serious crime unit.
