52-year-old charged after OPP respond to domestic disturbance on Saturday afternoon
Superior East OPP has charged one person with sexual assault and other related offences after officers responded to a domestic disturbance in Chapleau on Saturday afternoon.Full text of a news release issued by OPP follows:On March 23, 2024 shortly after 4 p.m., the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Pine Park Road in Chapleau.
The accused was held for a bail hearing, and remanded into custody. Due to the domestic nature of the incident, the name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
