With Sunday's kickoff in the Super Bowl now just days away, it's time for a wager. The heads of the Pennsylvania and Missouri chambers are putting some of their homegrown goodies on the line in hopes their state's team walks away with the Lombardi trophy.
The leaders of the Pennsylvania and Missouri chambers have put their famous home state's brews and other goodies on the line in a friendly Super Bowl wager.Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry President & CEO Luke Bernstein is licking his lips ready to dig into some of Missouri’s famous Jack Stack’s BBQ that he anticipates his counterpart in Missouri will send him when the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday’s Super Bowl.
Bernstein made a friendly wager with Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry President & CEO Dan Mehan putting some of their state’s regional foods and home state brews on the line in anticipation of their state’s professional football team bringing home the Lombardi trophy.Along with some BBQ, Mehan agrees to send Bernstein some Budweiser beer, Burger’s Smokehouse ham and sausages and Cherry Mash candies if his Chiefs lose.
Mehan countered that with, “I never miss a chance to offer our Missouri products to anyone, but this time Pennsylvania is out of luck.
