Before you fill up your Amazon shopping cart with Prime Day discounts next week, think about local alternatives, urges the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce
The highly-promoted discounts for members of Amazon's paid subscription service happen July 16-17 this year . The global online retailer started the promotion in 2015. The Chamber points to research that suggests at least some Prime Day 'deals' in the past have been based on inflated list prices. Amazon denies this is the case.
