The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is announcing recalls of more cucumbers and a sweet kale chopped salad kit because of possible Salmonella contamination.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says whole fresh American cucumbers packaged in a “Pamela” brand bulk cardboard container, a box with a sticker indicating “Agrotato, S.A. de C.V.” or a clear “PamPak” brand bag of 6 cucumbers are affected in the recall.

Taylor Farms brand Sweet Kale Chopped Kit is also being recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination.Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, contact your healthcare provider.Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections.
