The hospitalized woman crashed head-on into oncoming traffic Wednesday on a York County road, authorities said.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lower Chanceford Township, York County, as snow and rain fell over the area and created dangerous travel conditions.
State police said Samantha Hilker, 20, of York, was driving north on Delta Road when she lost control, veered into southbound traffic and crashed into a vehicle driven by Andrew Smucker, 43, of Lancaster. Andrew Smucker and his 77-year-old passenger Benuel Smucker, also of Lancaster, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to state police. York County Coroner Pamela Gay said the men were wearing seatbelts.Gay said autopsies will be performed later this week.
