Christmas Season concert will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 18

Canatation Women’s Choir performs for its fourth Christmas Season on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7:00 p.m., at The Loft.It’s Comfort and Joy, sprinkled with Merry and Bright! Tickets are available for purchase online at algomaconservatory.com for $20 with an option for children 10 years and under at $5. Relax and enjoy an evening of Christmas music and sweet treats shared with good friends in a beautiful, comfortable setting with fantastic acoustics at The Loft.

Special guests will include original Saultite Mitchell Tyler, bassist from London, Ontario who is a member of Jeans ‘n Classics. Also featured will be percussionist Marc Dubreuil, a member of Sault Symphony Orchestra and numerous other musical groups in the city. Our three exceptional piano accompanists will include Anthony Aceti, Brenda Butler-McTaggart and Patty Gartshore.

“Cantation is a celebration of adult treble voices based in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.” says Barbara Gallagher, Director. “Through camaraderie, we foster a supportive environment for both personal and musical growth. We are about enjoying choral music in many genres, pursuing musical excellence... and having fun!”

Choir members include: Elizabeth Alloi, Brenda Butler McTaggart, Alexandra Colak, Sandi Dal Cin, Barbara Gallagher, Leith Harris, Hailey Hayes, Jill McPhee, Jaime Miller, Michele Punch, Juliana Regan, Sandra Scornaienchi, Calyssa Skeggs.
