Immerse yourself in Burnaby's rich history this Labour Day Monday.
Labour Day is right around the corner and a visit to the Burnaby Village Museum should be on the cards for all history buffs in the area.
Embark on a local history walk as part of the celebrations and end of summer season — learning the history and legacy of Burnaby’s South Asian Canadian community in an interactive South Asian exhibit, participating in a labour scavenger hunt, watch a working people documentary or witnessing Pacific Spirit Quilters' Guild members showcase their talents — throughout the day.
At the Central Park theatre in the museum, guests can learn about B.C.'s labour history through a "Working People" documentary and witness demonstrations of different trade skills like blacksmith, tinsmith, printshop and barbershop.
