The Canada Border Services Agency said Tuesday a 'partial systems outage' was impacting its airport services and it was working with its partners to resolve the issue.

“We thank travellers for their cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience experienced,” the agency said in a statement to Global News.the outage was affecting the inspection kiosks in two terminals, and warned travellers they “may experience longer than normal wait times at customs.”Vancouver International Airport told Global News CBSA personnel are manually processing all international travellers while the agency works to resolve the outage.
A spokesperson for Montréal–Trudeau International Airport told Global News there was “no major impact” on its operations but that the outage was causing a slowdown.“Technicians are currently assessing, and a contingency plan has been deployed, enabling passengers to be processed, but obviously with a longer-than-usual delay,” spokesperson Nadia Benelfellah said in an email.
