Do you miss the snack cart on-board Irish Rail?
During the pandemic, those that travelled with Irish Rail regularly, missed the beloved catering service that would pass through the carriage on their journey.
He explained how this is an ongoing issue and that he does not see their being a catering service on Irish Rail in the near future. With the recent delays at Dublin Airport, Ireland is currently facing staffing issues across the country. However, even in their efforts to have the service back on the trains, he explained how customers should be prepared for a further extended period with no on-board snacks.Barry said that Irish Rail are working on increasing the number of shops and catering services in their train stations across the country.
When the service stopped at the beginning of the pandemic, many took to twitter to express how they felt about no food or drink being served on-board anymore.
