The rebooted G.I. Joe franchise will need its villains, and these actors should be up to the task of portraying the franchise's most iconic bad guys.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT 2023's Transformers: Rise of the Beasts confirmed that Hasbro's cinematic universe is here, which means a new slate of G.I. Joe Cobra villains will need to be cast. As a surprise twist in Transformers 7, Michael Kelly's Agent Burke was revealed as a G.I. Joe recruiter looking to bring Anthony Ramos' Noah Diaz on board. The exciting crossover sets up a reboot of the live-action G.I.

Guy Pearce would be terrific in the role of Bludd. Not only is he Australian, meaning he'll have the accent down by default, but he's also proven he can play villains on many occasions. For example, Pearce was excellent as the corrupt and merciless special deputy Charles "Charlie" Rakes in 2012's crime drama Lawless. Additionally, he has experience portraying an antagonist in a major blockbuster franchise, as he played Aldrich Killian in 2013's Iron Man 3.

5 Walton Goggins As Dr. Mindbender Dr. Mindbender is a Cobra scientist who was once an orthodontist and a decent man. However, after creating a machine intended to relieve dental pain by stimulating the brain electronically, he tested it on himself with catastrophic results. It damaged his gray matter and turned him hateful, making him decide to apply his vast intellect to evil.

One Doctor Who actor has already played Destro, as Christopher Eccleston portrayed the character in 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, but there's another who'd be fantastic in the role. Scottish actor David Tennant could play his native counterpart to perfection.

2 Jeong Ji-hoon As Storm Shadow The classic franchise character Storm Shadow – real name Thomas S. Arashikage – served in the special operations group of the United States Army alongside Snake Eyes. However, his life followed a very different path to the G.I. Joe team member. He became the personal ninja bodyguard of the Cobra Commander and now fights to protect his evil superior. With that in mind, while he remains friends with Snake Eyes, he's also the hero's most bitter enemy.
