Daily News | Carter Hart ‘fully cooperating’ with NHL investigation into sexual assault allegation involving Canada’s 2018 World Juniors team
As NHL training camps get underway this week, the greater hockey community is still searching for answers in the midst of multiple ongoing investigations into Hockey Canada’s handling of a sexual assault allegation involving members of their 2018 World Juniors team.
When asked specifically if he is cooperating with the reopened London police and Hockey Canada investigations, Hart reiterated, “That’s all I can say right now.” A Canadian parliamentary committee met with Hockey Canada officials on June 20 to discuss the handling of the alleged sexual assault. Officials that testified before the committee said that the players on the 2018 World Juniors team wereto participate in the initial Hockey Canada investigation, but their cooperation was not mandatory.
